Porous TiO2-based catalysts have recently received remarkable attention in the field of energy conversion systems, including hydrogen/oxygen evolution reaction, oxygen/nitrogen reduction reaction, and photodegradation of pollutants owing to their unique structure, large surface area, and good chemical stability. In this report, we review existing research on porous TiO2-based catalysts for energy conversion systems during the past four years. First, the advantages of porous TiO2-based catalysts are introduced. Next, the synthetic approaches in developing porous TiO2-based catalysts are summarized. The different types of energy conversion systems based on porous TiO2-based catalysts are then presented. Despite the popularity of the analogue measuring devices, there is no recognized reference provided comprehensive guidelines for determining their resolution and its associated uncertainty. For filling this gap, this article is introduced as an attempt to explore and investigate all the available works related to this issue. The new terminology “evident space”, “evident resolution”, and “conjunction” were proposed to set a common reference. Two different techniques for determining the analogue resolution were presented and discussed. Several numerical examples were also presented to show different analogue indications and their interpretations. This study was aimed to compare four commonly used methods for evaluating consumer acceptance (the 5-point and the 9-point hedonic scales) and preference (the ranking scale and the best-worst scaling) in terms of their ability in discriminating samples and perceived ease of use by the elderly. Elderly (n = 100) and young adult (n = 100) consumers participated in this study. Each consumer evaluated five commercial orange juice samples in duplicate for hedonic rating and preference rank separately and then evaluated ten sets of three samples for the best-worst scale, following the balanced incomplete block design. Nonparametric tests were employed as normality of data was violated. A significant sample effect was observed in all four methods (P < .001). Discriminating power of the best-worst scaling was more pronounced in the elderly than in the young adults; however, the best-worst scaling was easy to use for the young adults than for the elderly. 相似文献

The development of hydrogen evolution activity (HER) electrocatalyst that can run durably and efficiently under the large current density is of special significance but still challengeable for the massive production of hydrogen. Herein, a CoP/Ni(OH)2 nanowire catalysts grown on Co foam (CF) with a three-dimensional heterojunction structure has been successfully prepared by electrodepositing nickel hydroxide on the surface of cobalt phosphide. The prepared CoP/Ni(OH)2–15 min sample reveals a superior HER activity and stability. It merely requires ultralow overpotentials of 108 and 175 mV to 100 and 500 mA cm?2, respectively. In addition, the long-term stability test shows that the catalyst (CoP/Ni(OH)2–15 min) can operate stably for at least 70 h at 400 mA cm?2. Utilizing NiFe-LDH/IF with high OER activity, the NiFe-LDH/IF || CoP/Ni(OH)2–15 min catalyst system possesses the same outstanding performance for overall water splitting (OWS), which can accomplish ≈ 500 mA cm?2 at 1.74 V in 1 M KOH electrolyte. Moreover, the NiFe-LDH/IF || CoP/Ni(OH)2–15 min couple can work for more than 80 h at 500 mA cm?2, indicating its a great prospect in the area of electrolysis water. Such excellent catalytic performance is mainly attributed to the armor effect of Ni(OH)2, which can not only promote the rapid decomposition of water molecules, but also prevent the loss of phosphorus and enhance the synergistic effect of CoP and Ni(OH)2.
